TOPIC: *DOCTRINE*
Text: *2Tim. 3:14-17*


*NOTES*

  • Doctrine is a way of life, and life come from Christ. Some things might not be given us if we don't learn doctrine. *(Matt. 16:12-16)*
  • An ordinary man can not comprehend the person of Christ
  • Doctrine is using word to form life; the life of Christ
  • Doctrine is life and is able to build us up *2 John 1:9-12*
  • Christ is a doctrine that requires
  • We learn to become the doctrine (Christ) that we're learning. We need to learn to become Christ.
  • In doing this we must give attention to *hearing* as this (hearing) will help our souls to be dealt with.
  • Hearing and doing those things (the word) we hear is a practical thing, that is we need to live that word we hear (the life of Christ).
  • Christ is a our life but giving our life to Jesus is the qualifications l for this life *(Acts 2:38-41)*
  • When souls are added to church there's need to be a continuous teaching
  • Doctrine is the basis for living. You're either follow the doctrine of Christ or the doctrine of the world. *But the doctrine of Christ should be the basis for Christian living*
  • Bringing us into this life is to change us *(Isaiah 29:14)*
    • Doctrine is necessary for life *1Cor 14:26, 2 John 1:5 Heb. 5:12- 6:1-2*
  • In a nutshell, we need to learn Christ to become like Him
  • When we start learning, it is required of us to grow to become a mature Christian 1Cor 14:26
  • *1Tim 4:13,6

What can you do if...?

  Hi there, Good morning, trust you had a fantastic night rest?😊 Just alone with my thought this morning🙇 How does it feels when it looks like nobody, not even your family members, thinks about you or how you are fairing. What's or what'll be your reactions towards them (your family members especially) when you see outsiders, even people that doesn't know you too well being caring, feeling concerned about you and even "sacrificing" one or two things for you just to help you achieve your aim, to help you fulfill your dreams? * PS: * You might not have been in such situation before and I don't pray for you to find yourself in such situation... But your contributions thoughts and experience (if any) might go a long way to help "someone". Think deep before dropping your contributions, but before then remember the rule(s) on forgiveness... CHANGE
